The Solution Tree State Office and the Iowa AEAs have partnered to offer PLC Coaching Academies starting in the summer of 2023.
COACHING ACADEMY DATES AND LOCATIONS
- Prairie Lakes: (Pocahontas, IA) with Geri Parscale
- Dates: August 10-11, October 19-20, and February 8-9
- Grant Wood: (Cedar Rapids, IA) with Marc Johnson
- Dates: September 21-22, February 22-23, and June 12-13
- Heartland: (Des Moines, IA) with Jason Andrews
- Dates: September 25-26, November 1-2, and January 29-30
The PLC Coaching Academies includes six days of on-site training for school or district leadership teams (three sessions, two days each) and a robust selection of resources for each participant and school team. Sessions are designed to develop the capacity for implementing and sustaining PLCs.
School teams will leave each session with a new set of skills and activities as well as an action plan for implementing and teaching what they’ve learned. The result of The PLC at Work Coaching Academy is a cadre of PLC leaders who will act as agents of change in their school or district.
The cost is $8,500 for a team of up to 5 and $1,500 for each additional registration.
