Great Prairie AEA provides technical assistance to Local Education Agencies regarding Multicultural, Gender Fair practices in educational programs. Great Prairie AEA acts as a liaison between the Iowa Department of Education and organizations with an educational Multicultural, Gender Fair focus; assists local educators in implementing curriculum, instruction, and assessment for diverse learners; and supports student activities that support and extend Multicultural, Gender Fair classroom learning.
