Raising Individual Student Expectations (RISE) - Great Prairie Area Education Agency

Raising Individual Student Expectations (RISE)

RISE is a secondary transitional preparatory program for students on a current Individualized Education Program (IEP). The RISE program focus is to provide vocational training options in conjunction with Indian Hills Community College to assist IEP students in gaining job specific skills for employment in their chosen field. RISE may be pursued as a vocational training option if the specific skill training chosen cannot be provided in the local district, and if the vocational goals and objectives are clearly delineated in the student's IEP.
